Mazy turns 3!

The birthday girl waiting for her friends to arrive.

Right after I put up the decorations it was super windy and rained...this is was I was left with.

 still waiting..
 they are coming right?

Here's the doll cake I made.  I didn't really like how it turned out but it was sure tasty!

 Friends painting in our backyard.

Oh yeah, don't forget about Evey.  She found something tasty to munch on.

During the party a snake made its appearance and curled up under the cake table.

I got them all little smocks to wear while they painted.

Where are you suppose to put candles on a doll cake???

 Ahh...good times.

 Masterpieces waiting to dry.

 Mazy scored lots of loot.

I could only get a few kids to stand still long enough to take a picture.

Thanks!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET MAZY, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

love,
Mom and Dad

10 year mission reunion at Salt Lake City

10 years...really? When I got back with the sisters it was like stepping back in time, everyone looked and acted the same but we all were carrying babies! It was so nice seeing most everyone that could attend (4 of my companions were at the reunion). Sisters made it from all around the world...Scotland, Switzerland, and Brazil. A special thanks to Mike for helping with the kids during the reunion while I mingled.

We also went to the zoo with some friends and of course we rode the merry-go-round.

President and Sister Cook.

Me, "sister Phillips" (companion) and "Sister Davis".

We stayed at Brian and Meghan's house in Orem, unfortunately they were gone at the time so we didn't get to see them. However we saw plenty of their cats, Mr. Bow Jangles and Parley. The girls absolutely loved them and I'm sure they were happy to see us go.

My dear friend Lizza. We spent most of the weekend with her family. We were never companions but did serve together in Texas and are life long friends. Sadly this is the only picture we got.

For more mission pictures see my facebook page.

Happy Halloween

I carved the most non-scary pumpkin face I could think of. They both have a crooked smile. :)

Mazy wouldn't reach in to clean out the seeds, but she loved eating them once they were roasted.

"Evey is a nice spider" Mazy said.
Mazy loved knocking on doors in our apartment complex. She would moo at the people to get the candy and even wiggle her tail.

Look at all her loot!

Miss Evey

Evey is now 7 months old! She is so much fun to play with. She loves to giggle and laugh at Mazy. Here is a video of her first 3 legged crawl.

Marker Mayhem

I stepped out of the room and came back to find Mazy like this. She will never be allowed to wear black lipstick, she looked so old. I think this picture could pass as a mug shot what do you think? Can you say TIME OUT?

Oregon Vacation

We visited my home in Oregon for Mike's week long "summer break". We attempted to take some family pictures but Mazy and Evey wouldn't smile....not even when bribed with CANDY!
Here's what we ended up with.

My sister was able to join us from Texas with her girls and Will and Marissa came down as well.

Super sweet!

Dad's motorhome at the lake during our cook out.

Evey and Marta are 3 weeks apart.

We cooked out at 4 mile lake. It was lots of fun to roast dinner over the fire and throw rocks in the lake.

Mike pushing the Oregon trail cart my mom's class made. He tired out before the girls did.
